OZV ENVI - PAK

ENVI - PAK was founded in 2003 by leading manufacturers of packaged products. Since then, we provide selective collection and recovery of waste and recycling. On July 1, 2016 we became an organization of producer responsibility, after receiving from the Ministry of Environment on April 20, 2016 authorization for packaging and non-packaging products. We are therefore the oldest authorized organization (now, organization of producer responsibility) in Slovakia.

We operate on a principle of cooperation among all players involved in the waste flow:

from persons/entities who place on the market or into circulation packaging and non-packaging products,
through towns and municipalities, which are responsible for introducing sorted collection within their territory,
collection companies, that provide waste collection and final sorting
through to waste processors, who produce their products from sorted recyclables.

PRO EUROPE

We are member of a Europe-wide alliance of producer responsibility organisations PRO EUROPE, through which we obtain and implement in Slovakia international know-how. Organizations associated in PRO EUROPE, for many years already, maintain waste collection, recovery and recycling systems. That is why they are for us a source of recommendations, the so called “best practices”, that we can utilise here in Slovakia, after having been tested and proven in West European countries with a long tradition.

GREEN DOT

We are licensed to use the registered trade mark GREEN DOT in Slovakia and we also have the exclusive right to issue manufacturers and distributors authorisation to use the registered trademark GREEN DOT on the packaging of products they place on the market or put into circulation in the Slovak Republic.

TRANSPARENT SYSTEM

We create a transparent system, open to all entities involved in the waste material flow. Our priority is to constantly streamline the system of sorted collection, recovery and recycling and to optimize its cost.

EDUCATION

From the very early days, we’ve been involved in educational and promotional activities with impact on sorted collection and recovery. We train and educate - we organize regular free training for our partners, we teach children in schools to separate waste and to protect nature and we continuously support education of adults in our towns and municipalities.

GREEN DOT is a registered trademark. Packaging bearing the GREEN DOT trademark belongs to sorted waste bin.

GREEN DOT system is the most common way of utilising secondary raw materials originating from municipal waste in Europe.

Our operations have been repeatedly successfully audited by the Slovak Environmental Inspection Agency, which reviewed our specialist operations in accordance with applicable legislation.
We guarantee for you sufficient volume of sorted material needed to meet the collection share and compliance with recovery and recycling limits, through cooperation with towns and municipalities, as well as other contributors to the material flow of waste.
