ENVI - PAK is the first PRO in Slovakia to be awarded by the global rating platform EcoVadis
The Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO) ENVI - PAK has been awarded a silver award for sustainability and social responsibility by the rating organisation EcoVadis. This makes us the first CSO in Slovakia to receive the award, and this rating places us among the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis standards.
In February, ENVI - PAK received a silver medal for sustainability. In this prestigious assessment, by winning the Silver Medal, we are among the top 15% of companies assessed by the EcoVadis rating platform, a trusted global provider of business sustainability rankings. "The EcoVadis rating, which assesses the sustainability and social responsibility of companies based on a number of criteria, is not only a recognition for the work we have done so far, but we also see it as a commitment to continue to maintain the highest standards in the areas of environmental practices, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainability," said Hana Nováková, Chair of the Board of Directors and CEO of ENVI - PAK PRO.
Environment, labour and human rights, ethics or sustainable procurement
The EcoVadis methodology evaluates individual companies based on 21 criteria in four main categories, such as environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. In the former, the assessment looks at the company's environmental impact, e.g. emissions, waste management, energy and water consumption. For labour and human rights, it looks at workers' conditions, respect for human rights, combating discrimination and child labour. In the category of ethics, the ethical behaviour of the company, the fight against corruption, transparency and accountability are considered. And in the last part of sustainable procurement, the selection of suppliers is evaluated with regard to their social and environmental impacts.
The assessment is internationally recognised
EcoVadis is a globally recognized rating platform that operates in more than 220 industry categories and rates more than 130,000 companies from 180 countries. The EcoVadis rating is an internationally recognised standard enabling companies to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, ethics and social responsibility. In addition, the rating helps strengthen a company's reputation with stakeholders, including customers, investors and suppliers.
